Shrimp & Broccoli Stir Fry

Stir fry recipes are so versatile and you can pretty much use whatever ingredient you have in your kitchen. This shrimp and broccoli stir fry comes together in a matter of minutes with the most delicious sauce.

This recipe is tasty and simple to prepare & is served with rice or noodles.


For Stir Fry:

  • 500g Shrimp

  • 2 cups Broccoli florets

  • 3 cloves Garlic minced

  • ½ inch Ginger minced

  • 1 Onion chopped

  • 3 tbsp Sesame/Olive Oil

  • Salt to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce (low sodium)

  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar

  • 2 Crushed Red chilies

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice


1. Take a small bowl mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice & crushed chilli and set aside.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large, non-stick skillet over medium heat.

3. Add in the shrimp with a pinch of salt.

4. Fry the shrimp for 1 minute on each side.

5. Remove the shrimp from the pan and pour in 1 tablespoon of oil.

6. Toss in the onion, garlic, ginger, salt and sauté for a few minutes until they begin to soften.

7. Add in the broccoli and sauce mix, sauté until about 30 sec to 1 min.

8. Toss the shrimp back into the pan and mix until everything is well incorporated and the shrimp is fully cooked, for about 1 minute.

9. Serve hot with rice/noodles. Enjoy!!!
